Thoughts on Creating our own Destiny

All that we are today is the result of what we have thought in the past . Imagine we start with a blank slate and what we allow others to scribble in it as we grow up creates the picture we have of ourselves and we think it is us. However you are not your thoughts , you are not your emotions, you are not your mind, So who are you ? You existed long before and will exist long after this body is gone .You are pure consciousness or the Soul . Once you realise this fully you have the power to choose what thoughts you wish to entertain . Treat them like guests. Let only the good ones stay longer .Thoughts bubbles up from the pool that is your subconscious mind .Remember it is not just your thoughts but whatever you have captured and stored from childhood from your environment and life experiences . There is no rationality there Based on triggers in current environment these get thrown up and you react . Your life is more about how you react that what happens. A fear arises because the emotion of fear is already stored there and the current environment is conducive for it to surface .

Your conscious mind operates only 5% and rest of the time it is your subconscious mind that is at work. We are all automation’s responding to triggers . The subconscious mind is a storehouse of all your memories and programs .By the age of 7 programs are created in our subconscious which runs our lives . A program or belief is a thought that got repeated many times . The more the emotional intensity the deeper the belief formed . Life as such is inherently empty and meaningless . We are all meaning making machines. We make a meaning out of what happens based on our past experiences which acts as a filter .The story that we tell ourselves runs our lives . Once you understand this fully you can choose what meaning you want to give to Life. This requires constant practice .So life is inherently a choice . At every decision point we have to exercise that choice of who we want to be and which thought guest we choose to entertain. For doing this we have to become aware of our thoughts . There are at least 40000 thoughts per day coming up for the average man but we are not aware of most so it calls for constant awareness .

At a pure consciousness level there are no thoughts .The monkey mind is stilled .The only way to experience real joy in life is by slowing down our thoughts . Meditation is the best way to do it as only in meditation the momentum of continuous thoughts gets broken. If left unbroken then just by an overheated mind we create unnecessary stress . Also through meditation we are accessing divine energy that enters our auric field and it gradually cleans up the dirt deposited there . So over time the quality of our thoughts improves .Mindfulness is about being aware of our thoughts and replacing negative ones quickly by re-framing it in positive terms . As we do this we stop creating negative programs. Once we become present to life, the quality of life also changes . We are no longer automation’s. Then we can also start reprogramming our subconscious with a conscious flow of positive thoughts . Repetition is the key to creating new neural networks which become the new beliefs . Affirmations are a great way of doing this so that we can instill new beliefs. We become a new being with immense possibilities and we are freed to take action as mental blocks fall away .

Once we get limiting programs out of the way we are free to create whatever we desire with our intent .This can be done utilising the power of imagination which will tap into the power of the universe .Along with this as we are also basically energy beings with a certain vibration and frequency ( today both science and spirituality are in agreement on this) it is necessary to maintain a high vibration to attract good things into our life which means that the actual manifestation depend s on our state of being or who we are as a person. Nothing happens overnight and it is a continuous process that requires a consistent approach . This consistency can be ensured by retraining our brain with new habits that support that new state of being .foreg By doing Long term and short term Goal setting and visualisation we can attract those good things into our life . By instilling habits like Gratitude ,laughter,mindfulness etc into our life we can maintain a state of high vibration and thus allow the manifestation to happen by taking powerful action. Even exercise,right food and water have an impact on our vibration state so developing the right habits become critical. Creation is easy once we understand the principles and commit ourselves to the process .
